Lowcountry Lab Rescue: Greta

This afternoon I’d like to introduce you to miss Greta :) Greta is our first ever foster dog. She just came out of a shelter here in South Carolina and is adjusting to life in our casa. She’s said to be between 1 and 2, and is a super happy, personable girl. She LOVES the water and to be outside playing and running, and so far she has been great with other dogs. She’s very lovable, will curl up at your feet, and loves to sleep on anything soft…especially giant dog beds that she can sink into :) We are currently working on crate training her and also basic obedience commands. She’s extremely smart but still getting adjusted to the quiet and relaxed life outside of the chaotic shelter environment. I’ll definitely be taking plenty pictures of this pretty girl as we work on finding her forever home! Although I have deep roots in Maryland where I grew up, I am absolutely in love with all things southern. I live on a farm in a small town in South Carolina with my handsome husband, my beautiful step-son, our two yellow lab fur-kids, and three spoiled horses. My blog is a journal of sorts.
