Catherine & Bobby

I’ve known Catherine for a long time because we grew up literally across the creek from one another. Our little creek only has a handful of houses on it but the Cox’s pier is directly across from ours so I’ve looked at this very pier MANY of times but honestly never thought I’d shoot Catherine’s engagement pictures on it! Catherine’s family farms and they are incredibly dedicated to our county and educating about agriculture. The farm they live on is a working farm, and they also own Spider Hall Farm just down the road which features a pumpkin patch, hay rides, a farm stand, corn maze, and so much more. I was super excited Catherine and Bobby wanted to shoot at both farms and we also got to squeeze in some time at Bobby’s tobacco barn. Again, another location I’ve driven past 48398493 times in my life (probably not exaggerating with that) but never thought I’d shoot in front of. All of these locations have a lot of sentimental value to them which I love.

As I was editing these images last night, I couldn’t help but smile the whole way through. Is it not obvious that Bobby makes Catherine the happiest girl in the world?! There are so many pictures where I want to know what he said to make her laugh like she was! And at the same time, I was listening to Jason Aldean while editing, and it just fit so perfectly because Bobby looks like such a handsome country boy, and then you’ve got Catherine just as beautiful and happy as can be. I am so over the moon for her because I believe she has truly found her soul mate in Bobby :) Enjoy some of my favorites…I love me some Catherine and Bobby!
